BUSINESS DIRECTORY OF MACEDONIA 2008 offers ideal possibilities for future economic development of the Republic of Macedonia and its drawing near to the European Union countries.

The Publication presents the achievements of a great number of institutions and companies which have been contributed for the economic development of the country through their ways of functioning. This means that the main structure of Publication, issued into a print and electronic edition, presents chapters according to the spheres of action of the entire economic system in the Republic of Macedonia.

In the Publication, there has also been given a special review on several municipalities through which local self-government's functioning, i.e. successful implementation of the process of decentralization has been outlined. In such a way, successful integrally functioning of the local self-government along with the business and economic policies carried out by the state, has been indicated.

As a separate segment, the Publication presents the educational institutions, which are of a great importance for the rapid social and economic development of the Republic of Macedonia.
Our opulent cultural legacy is shown through the cultural institutions and manifestations presented, by which Republic of Macedonia has been recognizable abroad.

The activities chapters in the Publication are accompanied with introductory words by eminent businessmen and cultural workers which proved themselves as promoters of their field of activity.
